Crysis 2 Minimum System Requirements Released
Crytek have announced the PC minimum specifications for Crysis 2, sequel to one of the most notoriously needy games ever.
It’s a bit of a disappointment, actually. Most likely thanks to the fact that the game is coming out on consoles, the specs are fairly standard for a good looking new PC game. Nothing like the extraordinarily high requirements of the first game.
* Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
* Nvidia 8800 GT or higher
* 2 GB RAM
* Windows XP/Vista/7
* 9 GB free hard disk space
* Internet connection
So, take it as you will. On the one hand, you don’t have to upgrade. On the other, PC games are lagging far behind the capabilities of modern systems.
