The King Nintendo Fanboy’s Collection Showcase: Mario Ice Cream Bars

Over the years I’ve added many great items to my Nintendo collection.  Even though I’ve gained a large horde of Nintendo goods, I have yet to show much of it off.  That’s what the Nintendo Collection Showcase is for.

The items featured in this video are old Mario Ice Cream Bars with the ice cream still intact.  Yes it’s disgusting, but I thought it would be a bit humorous at the same time.  Only the King Nintendo Fanboy would have these…right? I have no idea if these items have any value at all, but if you know anyone else that has these let me know!

The Mario Ice Cream Bars in the blue packaging are older.  I think sometime around 2001 they switched over to the yellow packaging with the Mario Kart 64 artwork on it.

Anyone know if they still make these?  Regardless they tasted exactly the same as another Good Humor ice cream bar, Bubble Play - the baseball glove with the bubblegum baseball in the center.  Just look for it the next time the Ice Cream man is around if you want to know what it tasted like.

    Strangely enough, I didn’t see what I expected to when I clicked the link: the old Super Mario Bros. 2-era ice cream sandwiches. Those were good, I used to get one after school all the time back in the day.

    I’m not sure I’ve ever seen either of the ones above offline, though.
