Looks like April is going to be a month of sweet deals for gamers… no foolin!
Amazon, Steam and Gamestop have got you covered!
Amazon has Portal 2 for $54.99 ($5 off) for XBOX 360 or PS3 — but if you get it on PS3, you also get it on Steam. Along with that deal (which I’m totally taking advantage of) you can get a $20 Amazon.com credit, which you could in turn use on more games.
Another place to get a good deal is GameStop’s Power Saver Sale. There are several quality games, strategy guides, and accessories for a significant (or not-so-significant) amount off.
A few of these include:
- Assassin’s Creed II ($19.99)
- Borderlands GOTY ($19.99)
- Enslaved ($19.99)
- God of War III ($19.99)
- Just Cause 2 ($19.99)
- Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom ($14.99)
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ($39.99)
- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ($29.99 (SE) 49.99 (LE)
- Fallout 3 ($19.99)
- Singularity ($19.99) <-Underrated!
- All strategy guides now $10!!
Keep in mind that you can trade your games in toward other games on Amazon, or in-store at Gamestop.
Steam also has several sales, like the Potato Sack Pack, which includes 13 indie games for $38.72. The amazingly amazing Super Meat Boy is part of this deal, as well as Cogs and Audiosurf. Every game in the Potato Sack Pack is also 50% off of its normal price.
