Arkham City Confirms Catwoman as Playable – Watch the Purrfect New Trailer

When Batman: Arkham City was announced, there were a lot of rumors surrounding the possibility of multiplayer. While that rumor was quickly debunked, it didn’t stop the hopes of playing as someone other than Batman in the game. Would it be Robin? Batgirl? Alfred? Close, but no cigar.

Instead, you’ll have the option to be everyone’s favorite cat burglar, the Catwoman. Her motives for being in Arkham City are unclear, but it’s a safe guess that it’s got something to do with diamonds. She may lack a few things that Batman has, namely a belt full of gadgets and being Batman, but she more than makes up for it with that nasty whip of hers. She’s also a lot more agile than the Caped Crusader, so she’ll be able to scour along walls and fit into tight spaces with no problem. Overall, you’ll be playing as her roughly 10% of the game.

Being she’s a classy lady, she kisses enemies before laying the smackdown. You can make your choice for Selina Kyle or the Dark Knight when Batman: Arkham City hits stores October 18.
