For those of you RTS fans out there (me included), the announcement a while back of Kings and Castles being put on hold was slightly upsetting, even more so with the subsequent announcement that Gas Powered Games had picked up the development role for Age of Empires: Online.

Speaking with the RTS God and creator of Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation, Chris Taylor told RipTen that Kings and Castles was in fact on indefinite hold pending the success of their new free-to-play RTS.

Taylor also spoke on Supreme Commander 2, saying that further DLC for the game was unlikely however it hadn’t been completely ruled out.
