E3 2011: Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary Announced and Gets First Screens

Fans of the Halo franchise have more to look forward to than just Halo 4. The installment that started the whole series is finally getting remade with current generation features and graphics.

The game will get a graphical facelift but will retain the physics of the first game. If you were straight nasty with the pistol, you’ll still be pwning. The online system will be reminiscent of Halo: Reach featuring a robust matchmaking system to allow seamless online gameplay. Players will also have the option to revert back to the classic graphics, just in case you loved jagged edges.
