E3 2011: El Shaddai: Ascension Of The Metatron Demo Now Live On XBL and PSN
Our own Dave Oshray played El Shaddai last month and spent a week in the psych-ward recovering from the head-trip it gave him. Well now you can play it too with developer UTV Ignition Games announcing that the demo-version currently on-floor at E3 is now available on Xbox Live and on the Playstation 3 Network.
In the demo, players jump right into the game’s third chapter where protagonist Enoch enters the Tower of Babel and faces Ezekiel, the first of seven Fallen Angels , whose souls he must capture in order to prevent a great flood ordered by Heaven

From the minds of men who created Devil May Cry, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Final Fantasy 8, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell S.A.C., Dave warned us this would be some trippy shit, and as if you needed any further prodding, check out this trailer and then head straight to your download queue.
El Shaddai will be released to North American Xbox and PSN owners on the 26th of July. Filthy foreigners will get their hands on it on September 9th.
