RAGE Release Date Pushed Back to October
RAGE, the first new IP to come out of Id Software since 1996′s Quake, will have its release date pushed back from September 13th to October 4th of this year.
That change in the release schedule will give the developers a little more time to fine tune the experience, but it will also put it up against Dark Souls, NBA 2K12, Twisted Metal, and last but certainly not least, the Darkness II.
RAGE is set in an post- apocalyptic future where humans have emerged from large underground bunkers after the end of the world. Players assume the role of an emerged survivor who gets outfitted with some badass nanotechnology and some awesome weapons. You then run around and shoot things, Id style.
RAGE is now set to hit shelves October 4th for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
