    Seriously? You say MW3 has the best campaign? It is like an extra level of MW2 and I don’t remember liking that campaign. More explosions, guns, cliches and sunglasses doesn’t make it better. I really hate the INCREDIBLE hype CoD has. It’s about dam time there are shooters out there who have the potential to penetrate the thick skull CoD fanboys and drop a logical-sense-bomb.

      Because they are having engine issues and it didn’t look good at all during the show.  Hopefully they can get all the issues sorted before release, I’m a huge Elder Scrolls fan.

    Nice round up lads and laddesses. But a no show for Uncharted 3 seems entirely ridiculous. Not best Action Adventure? Not best Visuals? Not best PS3 game? Something tells me you guys couldn’t be bothered to queue up for Sony’s booth. Or it’s just the Ripten tradition… 

    Damn this site needs someone who owns a PS3 – like that awesome Patrick guy who used to write for you ;)

      We’re not big Uncharted players but we did get a lovely private tour at the Sony booth.  It didnt get best action adventure because it wasn’t, It didnt get best visuals becauselolconsolegame, and it didn’t get best PS3 game because Starhawk really wowed us and stole all of Uncharted 3′s thunder.  Also, I hear that Patrick guy was last seen writing for some site called Which.co Way Did He Go?

      The Skyrim demo at E3 was terrible, ask around, people are talking about it.  It made me sad.  Also, Reckoning is awesome and innovative, not just the same game with better graphics and dragons.  In a related story,  I wish we got paid to do these, I’d totally sell out :-)

      We do not condone the use of drugs here at RipTen, or the use of a broken game engine when demoing at E3 :-p.  I have high hopes for Skyrim, but it was not looking good at E3 my friend.

    Wow, so pretty much every other website gave awards to Skyrim, it even won 2 awards from the “Games Critics Awards” while most of the games on this list didn’t win ANY. So clearly it wasn’t a disappointment. First time on this website, and also the last.

    Nice to see you aknowledge ARMA!

    It isnt the easiest of games (ARMA1&2) however for those that put in a little effort into learning often get in for life hehe. No where else do you get such depth in a combat FPS that can be played in so many different ways. Its not a game. Its an experience! :) Simply the best and most realistic modern war game/sim on the planet (why do you think the military around the world uses their engine?) ;) 

    Again, nice to see it get some love! Shows you’re good guys that take time to evaluate what you reward and not just hang with the popular, shallow and glossy bunch.
