Yu Suzuki Leaves Sega
It’s days like these that make me a sad little emo child. A legendary figure of our industry, Yu Suzuki, has left his role at SEGA today, remaining only as a consultant for the company. He was behind some of the greatest games SEGA has ever put out, such as Outrun, Virtua Fighter, Space Harrier and Shenmue to name but a few. His presence in the industry will be sorely missed, and those of you hoping for a Shenmue sequel might as well give up now, at least one with Yu’s brilliant vision.
