Dungeon Siege III Keybinding Patch Coming To Steam Next Week

Obsidian has been hard at working meeting gamers demands in Dungeon Siege III, and the developer plans to release a free update over Steam within the next week.

The new update will include two of the most talked about features requested by fans: Keybinding and moving left and right. In case you’re completely oblivious to what these features are exactly, then shame on you. Thankfully Obsidian has got your back and provided exact details on what to expect.

Keybinding: Don’t like some or all of the default key controls in DS3? Fear not! With the new keybinding tab in the Options menu, you’ll be able to remap the controls to however you prefer them. Each control option has two bindable keys, so if you like having one function controlled by two different keys, that is available as well. (As an example, some people might like having both W and Up Arrow as options to move forward.)

Move Left and Right: In addition, we’ve added two new controls that will allow you to move left or right (think strafing.) For example, if you’d rather have A and D on your keyboard move your character left and right respectively instead of rotate the camera, you’ll now be able to set that as well.

    Glad i waited and didn’t buy this game. I was a fan of the first two but idiotic coop? NO keybindings? NO strafing? Inexcusable. I won’t even think of buying from these guys again until multiple patches have come out for their games and even then i guess it would depend on how vocal players are. Since removing a feature expected in pc games for well over a decade is a conscious decision to do things poorly and see if people will still buy it.
