New Video Game Releases 7/11 – 7/17

The second full week of July starts with a Boom. For those of you who didn’t have enough of the July 4th fireworks, Ms. Splosion Man is there to oblige. The sequel/spinoff to 2009′s Twisted Pixel’s hit ‘Splosion Man, releases on Xbox Live. You can’t say “Boom” without thinking of Madden football. And although the perennial gridiron champ isn’t out yet it’s younger collegiate brother NCAA Football12 releases for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Looking forward to the final Harry Potter movie? Well, who the hell isn’t? You can buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 the day before the movie premieres for the 360, PS3, PC, Wii and DS.

The PC gets Astroslugs and Panzer Corps while the DS gets the Ben 10 Triple Pack and Titanic Mystery. And whats this? A release for the PSP!?! Mighty Flip Champs! DX releases for the PSP. Never heard of it? Neither have I, but it beats what the 3DS is offering.

Pick of the Week: Let’s see … slim picking this week: college football or an exploding chick? I’m as big a fan of the gridiron as you can be, but I’ve played this game a million times through the years. Splosion Man was great demented platforming fun. Can’t wait to see whats in store for the Ms. – Ms. Splosion Man FTW
