New Metro: Last Light Gameplay Trailer Does Not Do The Game Justice

This Isn't Even High Rez.

There was a damn good reason why we gave Metro: Last Light best visuals at E3 2011.  The PC demo we were shown was a clear step forward from Metro 2033 which itself  happens to be the most impressive DX 11 game on the market.

However it’s not all about graphics.  4A and THQ are looking to improve upon the gameplay and pacing in Last Light as well.  Ya know, so the console gamers who don’t use the game to benchmark their PC’s will enjoy it too.

As I said, this trailer does not even begin to do the game justice, but I’m sure you’re starting to get a good idea.

    It wasn’t THAT bad… :P Sure it lacked the crisp visuals the series is known for (I even noticed some laughably bad muddied textures – which is something considering I watched the small ‘in window’ video on the page) but it’s not horrible looking :P

    I really liked the first game… but I really with they’d get with it and think for 2 seconds when porting the game. I remember playing with a KB/M and it prompting me to “use B” and “LT” to get shit done…
