Ubisoft Online Pass System Revealed “Uplay Passport”
Ubisoft has announced it’s own online pass system entitled “Uplay Passport” which will be introduced first with Driver: San Francisco.
The company broke the news to Gamerzines this morning saying the Uplay Passport will work similar to other online pass systems. Gamers who purchase any future online enabled titles from Ubisoft including Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, will be required to own the pass in order to access online features. However, no pricing details were released.
With Sony just recently introducing their own online pass, how many more companies are we going to see jump the bandwagon? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if here in the next year or two, most, if not all titles will have some sort of online pass implemented.
