On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for NINTENDO THE LAST STORY. This trademark is owned by Nintendo Co., Ltd., Kyoto 601-8501. The USPTO has given the NINTENDO THE LAST STORY trademark serial number of 77910766. The current federal status of this trademark filing is NOTICE OF ALLOWANCE – ISSUED.

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s coming.  They may have just trademarked it to protect the copyright or some BS, but c’mon, you know Reggie-san is totally down with the Mistwalker.
