Prototype 2 In Stores This April – Watch the new “Homecoming” Trailer

Hey, remember that game, Prototype? Y’know, the sandbox game that came out in the summer of ’09 where you played a dude wearing a jacket with superpowers? No, not that sandbox game, the one where you could slice New Yorkers into bits and jump around like a kangaroo on crack. Yeah, that one! Well, the sequel that was announced at last year’s Spike VGAs now has a final release date: April 24.

This is a pretty good spot to be in; it’s far away from the crowded 2011 date and seems to be distanced enough from the surefire 2012 hits like Darksiders 2 and Bioshock Infinite. The game will be released for the 360, PS3, and PC.
