THQ Pulls The Plug On Red Faction Franchise
It’s always sad when a publisher states they’re finished with a respectable franchise, and THQ has done just that with Red Faction.
THQ pulled the plug on the Red Faction franchise earlier today during an investor call after the poor sales Red Faction Armageddon received. CEO Brian Farrell confirmed the horrid news:
“We do not intend to carry forward with that franchise in any meaningful way.”
He also added the development team at Volition has moved over to begin work on Guillermo del Toro‘s inSane survival horror game which is currently set for 2013.
