Infamous 2: Festival of Blood Announced (Trailer)
You know what was missing from Infamous 2? Vampires. The undead thing has been around in hundreds of other games, but in never in a superhero sandbox. But it looks like that’s about to change. Today at Gamescom, Infamous 2: Festival of Blood was announced. As the name implies, Festival of Blood has vampires descending on the town of New Marais, and Cole is unlucky enough to be bitten by one. He has one night to track down the head vampire, or be stuck like that forever.
The good news is that it’s set for release this October for the PSN. The bad news is that a price point hasn’t been announced, and it’s unknown whether or not you’ll need a copy of Infamous 2 to play it, since it hasn’t been classified as DLC. The great news? Cole doesn’t sparkle. The worst news? No Anna Paquin. You’d think that a game about vampires in a Louisiana-style town would be right up her alley. Have a trailer!
