DRIVER: San Francisco Online Pass Now Free For Xbox 360 Users

It appears many Xbox 360 users are complaining about their Uplay Passport codes being invalid upon redemption which restricted gamers access to DRIVER: San Francisco‘s mulitplayer modes and the Film Director Mode.

A new code would have cost you $9.99, but it appears the codes were printed incorrectly for some copies of the game. Instead of issuing new codes to users, Ubisoft has decided to make the Uplay Passport for DRIVER: San Francisco completely free. We don’t now exactly how long this will last, but the Ubisoft website states to:

“When you begin Driver: San Francisco, you are prompted with the Uplay Passport menu. The menu has 4 options: “Purchase Uplay Passport,” “Activate my Uplay Passport,” “Start my 2-Day Free Trial,” or “Remind Me Later”.

There are two ways to access these online features:

1. Select Start My 2-Day Free Trial, which will not expire, OR

2. Select Purchase Uplay Passport, which will be provided at no charge.

Either option will unlock the 11 multiplayer modes and the Film Director feature on console titles with Uplay Passport.”

DRIVER: San Francisco launched today for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii.
