New Details on Deus Ex: Human Revolution “Missing Link” DLC

A few days ago, Eidos Montreal announced that Deus Ex: Human Revolution would get the Missing Link DLC. Since the initial trailer that showed Adam Jensen bloody, getting his face pounded, and without his augmentations, fans have been wondering exactly what’s going on in the DLC. Eidos Montreal marketing coordinator David Bedard was more than happy to answer questions about the DLC. Here’s what we know so far:

  • The Missing Link will be accessible via the main menu, so don’t worry about having to start a new game to access it
  • Adam will be shirtless for a while, but you’ll get your combat clothes at some point in the DLC
  • Most of the tools you can use will be from the main game
  • There’ll be new Augs and weapons
  • 250 Achievements/10 Trophies added with the DLC
  • Two new characters: Pieter Burke and Netanya Keitner, both employees for Belltower Associates
  • The Deus Ex novel, The Icarus Effect, will be subtly referenced in the DLC, but it’s not required reading

There’s no news about a price point, but Bedard said they’ll reveal the pricing “soon.”

Deus Ex: Human Revolution-The Missing Link hits the downloadable stores this October.
