Battlefield 3 Open Beta Launches September 29th – PC Requirements Revealed
It’s official. The beta for Battlefield 3 will land on all platforms come the 29th of this month. If you’re one of the poor guys who got suckered into buying Medal of Honor, don’t feel bad. You’ll get to join the action 2 days before everyone else, as the beta unlocks on the 27th for MoH owners, and people who have pre-ordered BF3 on Origin.

The playable map for this build will be “Operation Metro” , the same map featured in the Alpha build. The beta will only feature rush mode, so if you’re unfamiliar, think of it as an attack/defense based game-mode. Players will also get a taste of the new “Battlelog” system. It’s a social tracking service, similar to that found in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, which allows players to easily join their friends and compare various statistics, something desperately needed in the Battlefield games.
