Rift Offers Ashes of History Edition Upgrade

Have you ever wanted to ride around on a giant spider? Well, now you can. Trion has introduced a new upgrade option for Rift, available for $10, which nets you a creepy spider mount to bother your arachnophobic friends, as well as a personal banker and faction tabard.

The new mount scales to the speed of your current fastest mode of transport, while the bogling banker can be accessed in any location, perfect for mobile banking on the run. The Ashes of History upgrade is an alternative to the $10 Collector’s Edition, and will hopefully be the final nail in the coffin of the dreaded two headed tartagon mount which was so ubiquitous during Rift’s first few months.
