XIII Appears to be Getting a Sequel… or a Prequel… or Something

In 2003, the world was given its first cel shaded shooter, XIII.

The conspiracy theory driven story of an amnesiac accused of killing the President (played by David Duchovny) is nothing short of a cult classic, but due to lackluster sales and lackluster reviews, Ubisoft never made a sequel, even though the game ended with a “To Be Continued…” screen.

Anyhow, a very interesting announcement has appeared on French game developer Anuman Interactive’s Facebook page. (pictured above) According to the French text on said Facebook page, in November we’ll “Return to the roots of the conspiracy of XIII” on PC, Mac and iOS.

As to what exactly that means, we’re not yet sure.

Stay tuned to RipTen as this story unfolds.

Ooo…I loved this game and hated that there was never a sequel, since the ending just leaves you hanging. I can’t wait to see how this pans out.
