DC Universe Online Relaunches as Free-To-Play Today

As promised, SOE has rolled out DC Universe Online’s free-to-play conversion today, allowing eager new players to download and play the game free of charge. Budding superheroes can download the client via this link if using a PC. PS3 users can gain access via the PlayStation Network.

As part of the relaunch, DCUO’s website is also being revamped, although at time of writing the site is still down for maintenance. You can also keep an eye on DCUO’s Facebook page for further updates.

    This is great news for me. I bought the game back when it came out, but canned my subscription after 2 months cuz I couldn’t dedicate enough time to justify paying $15/mo for it… so now that it’s free, I can just jump in whenever I like :)
