Rift Rolls Out Xmas Themed ‘Fae Yule’ World Event
As the holiday season edges closer, Trion is getting into the spirit by unveiling a six week long world event for Rift known as “Fae Yule,” a celebration that features fancy holiday hats, new quests, a grumpy mead-guzzling satyr, and other festive items.
Having escaped Greenscale’s talons, Telara’s Fae are preparing to party only to find Crucia, the Dragon of Air, intends to enslave the Fae herself. Being Fae in Telara apparently dooms you to a lifetime of servitude.
Fortunately, the Ascended are ready and willing to oppose Crucia and in doing so players will earn unique snowflakes which can be redeemed for yule-inspired gear, a cheerful corgi companion, and a seasonal vaiyuu mount.
The world event begins this weekend, heralded by three days of subscriber bonuses, including increased experience, PvP Favor and Prestige, Plaques of Achievement, and Planarite. Head over to Rift’s website for further details.
