Gran Turismo 5 to Get Two DLC Packs and Update 2.03 Next Week – Screens and Details

Expect lots of new content for next week with two new DLC packs and update 2.03 announced by Sony today. The upcoming DLC includes the Car Pack 3 and the Speed Test Pack.

Car Pack 3 will feature six new cars: Lamborghini Aventador, Jaguar XJR9, Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2011, VW 1200 1966, Mini Countryman S 2011, and Nissan Leaf. The pack will be priced at $6.99 .

The Speed Test Pack features an all-new oval race track with a special performance measurement mode – perfect for trialing out your car collection and their stats. It should be priced at $5.99.

Update 2.03 will be released on January 18th and should feature the following changes:

  • New theme for my home in GT Mode.
  • An option to set up in the penumatici Pit Strategy (B-spec).
  • Simulated regenerative braking on electric cars.
  • Chaparral 2J Race Car ’70: Fan forced shutdown option.
  • Fixed an error unexpected pit stop on the last lap of a race B-spec.
  • 12 new colors and 12 new wallpapers for the theme of Casa Mia.
  • Electric cars run slower without applying an acceleration.
  • A regenerative braking effect on the distance cruise.
