Starhawk Public Beta Begins January 17th for PlayStation Plus Members

Didn’t get into the Starhawk private beta? No worries. The public alternative is slated to kick off soon, and you can get in even sooner if you fork up a few bucks to become a PlayStation Plus member.

According to the Official PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Plus members can kick the doors in on the public beta starting January 17th — that’s over a month before the beta becomes open to all PlayStation Network users on February 21st.

Of course you’ll also be able to get in via codes that will be distributed through a handful of social outlets online, and if you are one of the millions of people that picked up Uncharted 3 brand new you can use the voucher that came with it to get in on January 31st. Still, the fastest way to get in is to become a PlayStation Plus member if you aren’t already.
