DDO to Launch ‘Menace of the Underdark’, First Premium Expansion in Summer 2012

Big news today for Dungeons and Dragons fans – Executive Producer Fernando Paiz announced on the Dungeons and Dragons Online forums that the largest content expansion Turbine has ever undertaken will launching in the summer this year.

Menace of the Underdark will introduce a number of player requested features including an increase in the level cap into Epic levels to a new cap of 25, the introduction of the Druid class, and the MMO’s first venture outside of Eberron and into the popular Forgotten Realms setting.

The announcement co-incides with the unveiling of a new site for the expansion, with promises of further information to come over the next few months.
