Curt Schilling Nerds Out and Talks Kingdoms of Amalur on Jimmy Fallon

Apparently, when Curt Schilling wasn’t tossing strikeouts, he was hardcore nerding out to Everquest and Dungeons & Dragons. Why else would a man go from comfortable retirement from the MLB to the high-pressure world of founding and running a game studio dedicated to MMORPGs. 38 Studios, Schilling’s baby, now has the critically acclaimed with Kingdoms of Amalur under its belt (you have read our review, right?).

I was a bit dubious about Schilling’s passion for MMOs (and I meant no disrespect), unfairly stereotyping him as your run-of-the-mill jock who fancies himself a nerd because he plays Facebook games. However, seeing him repping Kingdoms of Amalur with Jimmy Fallon, I see now that the man’s the real deal. Check it out for yourself:
