Gotham City Impostors Glitch Is Resetting Progress

Gotham City Impostors released about a week ago and users are finding a serious glitch.  You can level up and unlock and buy gear in the game, but it seems a glitch is resetting all of your progress, even if you paid real money.  Impostors allows you to purchase XP boosts with real money, meaning that users suffering from stat-resetting are out cold hard cash until a fix is implemented.  The game has found moderate critical success, so hopefully this is only a little bump in the road.

It would seem the developers are trying to track down and fix the issue as quickly as possible.  On their forums, this post is asking for information related to the reset, and it is already 70 pages long.  As of right now, there is no word from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.  Some users are linking the glitch to accounts that were upgraded from a trial game.  Either way, don’t get too attached to your progress, or play something else while the team at Monolith works to resolve the problem.
