Since his disembodied arrival in Assassin’s Creed II, Subject 16 has been a key part in the Truth sections of the franchise. It’s clear there’s something seriously wrong with the dude, and now his story is being fleshed out in the new DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

According to a listing on Zavvi, the Lost Archive DLC will provide some more backstory on Subject 16–aka Clay Kaczmarek–and provide players a chance to play as him before he went nuts and became a voice inside the Animus. Expect to peform puzzle-platforming similar to Desmond’s missions from the main game, along with cameos of characters and setting from the past and present. The DLC will also come with three character skins, capacity upgrades for weapons, threads for Ezio and Altair, and Brutus’ armor. A special “Vlad the Impaler Prison” mission will also be made available with purchase of the DLC.

Expect it next Tuesday the 28th for $15/1200 MSP on the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace.
