Remember when we posted a few weeks ago how Battlefield 3‘s free iOS game was yanked due to “multiple issues?” Well, if you were one of the few who were waiting for the game to be fixed so you can enjoy some Battlefield on the go, you’re going to be very disappointed.
In the interest of bringing consumers only the highest level of quality mobile entertainment, EA Mobile has decided to suspend development and support of Battlefield 3: Aftershock and refocus its resources on other titles.
What’s more, the Aftershock servers will be going offline soon… just how soon? Try the end of March soon. Yep, if you’re one of the few who downloaded, played it and liked it, you only have three weeks before the game goes offline for good.
Did any of you try it? I imagine the temptation of “Battlefield” and “free” might have hooked a few fishes. Hopefully, EA develops a good Battlefield game for iOS devices soon.
