Early this morning, BioWare’s second major content patch for Star Wars: The Old Republic was deployed to live servers, bringing with it a raft of changes to the fledgling MMO.

A new flashpoint, operation and warzone are all now available, in addition to the meat of the patch: expanded Legacy content. The Legacy system will allow you to unlock a variety of rewards and benefits which are shared across all your characters. Additionally, SWTOR’s UI is now customizable, new daily missions and at last, a Guild Bank.

The launch has not been without controversy – the advertised Ranked Warzone’s feature was pulled from release at the last minute, leading to an outpouring of discontent on the forums. For a small period yesterday morning, the patch was also available for download before it should have been, resulting in a number of players needing to re-install their game client.
