Keen eyes at Eurogamer have spotted both Ghost Recon: Final Mission and Assassin’s Creed III for Vita separately on retail websites, both set for release dates this year.

If Final Mission doesn’t sound like a familiar title, that’s because Ubisoft’s not announced it in an official capacity. This is actually the first we’ve learned of Final Mission. GAME leaked Final Mission‘s release via its website for £34.99, sometime this year. Oops.

Another videogame retailer, Zavvi, has listed Assassin’s Creed III for a portable release. Ubisoft’s been hinting that a title from the Assassin’s Creed franchise would come to a Sony handheld, but it wasn’t clear which title was coming to the Vita. We’ve reached out to Ubisoft for comment. So far, it looks like most media outlets are getting a “no comments” response. Maybe we’ll just have to wait until next week, when E3 rolls around.

If this is the case, I’m happy to see it. As I’ve mentioned various times before, I love my Vita, but so far there’s a lack of game support. Uncharted and Touch My Katamari have managed to keep the Vita in my pocket for a few weeks, but I’m sorely in need of another portable adventure to keep me entertained.
