Having just celebrated its first North American anniversary, the manga-based F2P MMO brawler Elsword is ready to dish out some new content to any and all players who might be interested. Taking the form of new weapons to fight with, new enemies to battle, new titles to earn, an increased level cap to reach, and an entire new continent to explore, this update is sure to add plenty more enjoyment to the game for those playing, and may just be enough to bring in some new players.

This new continent, Elrios, has been split in half due to a series of natural disasters, and two distinct areas have formed. The northern half, Rulensia, and the southern half, Fluone, are the new areas that players level 45 and above will be exploring. These two new areas, of course, come with two new dungeons. On the outskirts of the city of Hamel, players must “overcome the manipulative Shadow Monster, a fiend capable of controlling their actions.” In the Sunken Resiam,  players must “plan their attacks strategically, employing new underwater gameplay mechanics while battling the undersea denizens.” If you’re looking for more information on the game itself, you can check out its website to read up on content, find out more about the characters, or download the game itself.

Elsword  is definitely worth a look if you’re trying to find a new free-to-play MMO experience to jump into, as you can read about in our review, so if you’re at all interested in this new content, or just want a new way to waste some time, you should definitely check it out. After all, it’s free. What have you got to lose but time?
