If there’s one segment of the legal profession that gets a bad rap it’s personal injury attorneys. The law firm of Dewey, Cheatham and Howe has nothing on the laundry list of “investor protection” firms that are circling like vultures around the not-dead-yet corpus of THQ. This time out, the firm of Levi & Korsinsky is seeking someone (anyone) to serve as “lead plaintiff” in their own suit filed in California.

The interpretation here is that the firm is prepared to move forward, it just needs an allegedly wronged party who was harmed by the fallout from the uDraw failure. At this point, suits are being filed for purely opportunistic reasons. We likely haven’t seen the last of them, either.
