We’re less than a month away from the release of Darksiders II, something I just now realized and am promptly freaking out over. When the game hits console and PC on August 14th, the Darksiders II Original Soundtrack will be released right along with it. The game’s score is the work of BAFTA award-winning composer Jesper Kyd. If that name seems familiar to you, it’s likely because he’s done music for over three dozen games including the Assassin’s Creed and Hitman series. Though it could also sound familiar because Jesper Kyd sounds like a Star Wars character.

The Darksiders II Original Soundtrack, which features 26 songs over two CDs, will be available in retail outlets and on digital services like Amazon MP3, iTunes, and more. It’s available for pre-order on Amazon.
