One of the smartest moves that Eurocom and Activision made with the reboot of Goldeneye and Goldeneye Reloaded was to bring in current Bond Daniel Craig and most recent M Dame Judi Dench. Of course, there is something to be said for remembering your roots, especially when it comes to iconic characters only ever played by a single actor. You’re going to get just that with the upcoming 007 Legends.

To that end, it was announced today that Craig and Densch will be joined by Naomie Harris from the upcoming 007 film Skyfall,  Michael Lonsdale (Hugo Drax) from Moonraker and Richard Kiel (Jaws) from Moonraker and The Spy Who Loved Me. Given the game’s premise of revisiting five different classic Bond movies (in addition to Skyfall), it’s great to see the thread linking the series’ storied history to its present day incarnation.

You can get your hands on the latest gadget- and gun-filled secret agent adventure on October 16, 2012 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
