Two Assassin’s Creed titles; one release date. Ubisoft is doubling down this year with double dips into the deep well of conflict between Assassin and Templar. We’ve had the chance to preview Assassin’s Creed III thrice now (PAX East, E3 and a Sony event). In our second sitting with the game, we got a chance to see the muzzle flare and hear the cannons roar during an intense naval battle.
Today, Ubisoft has shared a bit more about how that aspect of the title will work. You can check out the video below.
Additionally, we’ve started to get more details about the PlayStation Vita premiere of the series, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. The title will feature some touch controls, but otherwise seems to offer the same freerunning and bloody, stealthy combat we’ve come to love about the series. Oh, and protagonist Aveline will wrestle alligators. Someone is crossing that off their gaming bucket list right about now.
Assassin’s Creed III arrives on October 30 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (November 20 for PC). Asssassin’s Creed III: Liberation will be in your hands the day before Halloween, also.
