PopCap is quite a special little company. From humble match-3 beginnings with Bejeweled, the studio has managed to create pure, crystalline addiction in its more recent games without losing the charm or accessibility. From their twist on pachinko Peggle, to their invertibrate-invested, word-bender Bookworm, the company has a wonderfully diverse set of offerings. Few are lauded by both “hardcore” gamers and casual enthusiasts alike with such consistent praise as the tower defense twist Plants vs. Zombies.

Fans of the cute and quirky undead romp will be happy to know that more sunflowers, pea shooters and cherry bombs are on the way in spring 2013. Alas, that’s all the information we have, except for one note from an anonymous fan of the series. It reads,

“Spring is crullestcurlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots. So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skeduleschedlue plan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.”

We can’t wait.
