It seems the Good Times are upon us, at least for connoisseurs of classic and independent games. A completely new Humble Indie Bundle is available for purchase, offering a six pack of games for purchase for however much you want to pay. Included in the package is Torchlight, Rochard, Shatter, Space Pirates and Zombies, Vessel and (to those who pay more than the average price) Dustforce. The Bundle is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Torchlight doesn’t need any introduction. This critically acclaimed independent action-RPG puts the player in the shoes of a lone hero exploring the mining town of Torchlight and its adjoining dungeons and labyrinths, to uncover the secrets surrounding a mysterious mineral, Ember.

Rochard is a classic side scrolling platformer, with a sci-fi flavour. As John Rochard, the toughest miner on this side of the galaxy, the player will have to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles using gravity, weight and matter, constantly fighting against an intergalactic archaeological conspiracy.

Shatter, on the other hand, is a re-imagining of the classic brick breakers, adding new physics-based methods of altering the ball’s course to the classic formula. Comes with an electronic soundtrack by Module and boss battles.

Space Pirates and Zombies is a different game, allowing the player to explore space, upgrade their ship and fight intense space battles in classic top-down shooter style. It combines vintage, extremely fun gameplay with physics-based combat, randomly generated galaxies and zombies. Reason to S.P.A.Z. Indeed.

Vessel, the penultimate part of the bundle, is a liquid-manipulating puzzle platformer. As Arkwright, inventor of liquid-comprised automatons called Fluros, the player has to step up and put their inventions in order, as they malfunction and start causing chaos. Vessel features highly optimized liquid simulation with flowing water, scalding lava, steam and more, making puzzles more unique and fun to play.

Dustforce is the last part of the package, available to those that pay more than the average price. As one of an elite group of acrobatic janitors, the player is tasked with winning the war on grime on over fifty levels of wall rebounding, double jumping, endurance runs and total dust obliteration. Comes with a map editor and ability to share levels online with others.

As usual, the Humble Indie Bundle is available on a pay-what-you-want basis. All proceeds will be divided as the gamer chooses: they may decide to give everything to the developers, the charity or divide it as they see fit. The package includes full soundtracks for Torchlight, Rochard, Shatter, Space Pirates and Zombies and Dustforce.
