Halo 4 Franchise Director, Frank O’Connor, recently sat down for a video interview with Giant Bomb, and in it he confirmed that the 343 Industries follow up to Bungie’s Halo 3 is “nearly done.”  He then quickly added that they’ve got a couple of weeks left before they’re “really, really, really done” with a few more weeks tacked on after that for manufacturing purposes.

So, if you do the math, that means the Xbox 360 exclusive should be done just in time for their November 6th, 2012 release date.

One more note, originally reported back in July by Videogamer,  is that the company is actively hiring next gen graphic developers to “help create the current and next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe,” meaning the 5th and 6th installment of the already confirmed Reclaimer Trilogy will more than likely be on the next generation Xbox console. And I for one am thankful for that because I could really use a breath of fresh air in my gaming room in the event that the Nintendo Wii U doesn’t blow my socks off.
