I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong. Back in April, I mentioned that, from the sounds of it, the content being added to Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut on the Wii U wouldn’t be gracing other platforms. That assumption was incorrect. Square has announced that the Director’s Cut of the game will grace not only the Wii U, but also the Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
In addition, the PlayStation 3 will use the Vita, and the 360 will use Smartglass to mimic the Neural Hub feature that the Wii U Gamepad will add to the game. All the other features – the improved A.I, the redesigned boss fights and the integration of the Missing Link and Tong’s Rescue Mission – will make an appearance in the other versions, as well, as will the visual enhancements.
Still no word on an exact release date, but at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the ’2014′ window I suggested last time was wrong as well.
