Hotel Dusk: Room 215 was released in North America on the Nintendo DS in 2007 to gamers eager for more “adventure” styled games in the vein of Capcom’s popular Ace Attorney series. In the time since, it gathered something of a cult following and garnered a re-release as a part of Nintendo’s “Touch Generations” DS line.

Nintendo and Enix (now Square Enix) are no strangers to the challenge of getting the Dragon Quest games over with a Western audience. They teamed up once before to try to capture just a bit of the same lightning in a bottle that has made the series so popular in its native Japan, but to no avail.
