John Kershaw, Contributor (Manchester, UK)

John (or as the internet knows him, Wardrox) is a yellow haired student, living and learning in the wonderful city of Manchester, UK. He is currently trying desperately to finish his Computer Engineering degree so he can go back to the more important things in life, namely games and fine beer. Admittedly as a student, it’s not like he can’t take the day of and enjoy both whenever he feels like it, but it’s good to have goals in life.

He started his professional career as a butcher’s assistant on Saturdays and soon learned a whole set of useful life skills. He can turn half a cow into almost anything and can spot a bad piece of steak a mile off.

Growing up on a stable diet of PC games such as Doom, Quake and SimCity, John has been exposed to games since a young age, yet joined the console masses quite late on. His first system being a PS2, which has been in heavy use ever since he got it. He currently owns all three of the current-gen systems and is happy with all of them, spending a healthy majority of his time gaming.

Else ware on the net, John can be found over at Destructoid as co-host on the Euro-centric podcast, The Podcastle, where his invalid opinions and apparent hatred of nearly everything is vocalized twice monthly.

John also once drummed for Status Quo, however this didn’t work out after the band realized he often makes up fictional past events to try to make his life sound more exciting than it really is.
