Jonathan Zungre, Contributor (New York, NY)

Jonathan’s been playing games longer than he’s been playing life. Well not really, but close. He lives on the Upper West Side of New York City, but is originally from blue collar Steelers country, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He has a degree in Communication from Grove City College and has been working as an Actor and T.V. show host in New York for the past 2 and half years.

He can be seen on HDTV on Mojo’s tech show Geared Up as their Geared Up Gamer, and acting in the Montana Meth national PSA commercials, directed by Darren Aronofsky (Requium for a Dream, The Fountain).

Past Achievements Include:

-Beating the original NES Castlevania during finals week his sophomore year of college

-Recently getting cast as Chekov in the popular internet series, Star Trek: New Voyages

-Popping his middle finger out of joint while playing “Pit Fighter” at the arcade but not stopping his game to pop it back in.

Jonathan currently owns: A PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and a PC that can’t run Crysis.

He enjoys: Shooters, and just about any game with great story. He has a huge spot in his heart for traditional adventure games.

He is still scratching his head about: Extremely Japanese RPG’s, cutesy Platformers, and gets quite stressed out by fast paced, real time strategy games.
