Kev Lochun, Contributor (London, UK)
Kev originally asked housemate Jon to write this bio for him. Unfortunately, as soon as Jon found out Ripten was based in the States, this happened:
“My name is Kev Lochun. I like cups of tea, the Queen, politeness, queuing, green fields, boiled food, quality drama, lager, pessimism, quaint villages, Sunday fetes and talking about the weather.”
Suffice to say, Jon got a slap. The upper hand was lost, however, when Jon pointed out that not only did Kev drink tea, but was drinking it out of a mug with the Queen’s face on it at the time.
Drat.
Kev loves being a journalist almost as much as he loves games, and frequently disturbs the dead of night with his incessant trip-tapping. With a journalism postgrad from Cardiff University in hand, he currently wiles away his days as a business writer. He also whores himself as a freelancer – you’ll probably be more interested to hear he’s appeared on Gamesradar and CVG than anything else.
Before all that, he got a biology degree and spent two years in waste management, but quit after deciding it was a load of rubbish.
Kev can’t stand racing sims but has an unnatural passion for Final Fantasy and Total War. When not writing, gaming, or trying to coax is 14-year-old Megadrive back to life, he spends most of his time in the kitchen. To the annoyance of all around him, Kev eats like a horse and still doesn’t put on weight.
