Patrick Steen, News Editor (United Kingdom)
Being the only British journalist at ripten.com means Patrick Steen has the difficult responsibility of representing the tea drinking, crumpet eating, in need of dentistry, football loving hooligans that are the Brits. However, lets make this clear, he ain’t no chav, and he is not a relative of the Queen. Glad we’ve got that sorted. Safe.
Living in the south of England (no, not London) life is pretty mint (O.K. enough of the Brit slang), but don’t expect him to stay in the same place for too long though, as he has studied in the land of Robin Hood, as well as traveled and studied in Australia.
A recent graduate of Philosophy and Film Studies, Patrick hopes to share his skills in critical thought, logical argument, and creative writing on ripten.com with a little bit of flare. Want to debate about life, time travel, artificial intelligence, the latest films, or the quality of recent video games? Patrick’s your man.
Furthermore, being a large part of a number of gaming and technical forums, he’s at the center of the gaming public. If there’s some gaming news he doesn’t know about, it’s not worth knowing. Think you heard it first? Think again.
Originally a proud owner of the Sega Master System (with built in Sonic the Hedgehog 2!), he then moved on to the Playstation, and is currently the owner of a Playstation3. A passion for action-adventure games has since been adulterated by racers and first person shooters, but nevertheless, Lara Croft will always have a soft spot in his heart. Continue the journey with Patrick here at ripten via his reviews, previews, and exclusive news.
