Tonight was the Spike TV VGAs, and though the show pretty much tanked as usual, I have to say that some of the footage shown during the show piqued my interest a lot.

The World Cosplay Summit is by no exaggeration the most ridiculously awesome display of dress-up this side of X-rated.  The WCS 2008 is currently finishing up the preliminary rounds, where cosplayers from around the world compete for a spot on the world stage.  The competitors are not only judged on their outfits, but they actually perform a skit on stage in front of thousands. My six year old niece just handed me a noise maker, and that means that 2007 will be coming to an end momentarily here on the east coast. I know that I speak for the entire staff here at Ripten in saying that we wish you all a very happy New Year and a great 2008.
