project-natal-rumored-for-november-2010-release-with-50-80-price-tag-and-14-launch-titles

prjctntl-f_2-580

By the time November 2010 rolls around, we could all be residing on the moon, eating space cheese, and zipping around with solar powered jet packs. In the event that doesn’t happen though, we might still have Microsoft’s Project Natal to look forward too. Read more…

Nintendo Non Commital on Zelda 2010 Release

by Chad Lakkis on November 7, 2009 at 1:13 am

zelda-2010-fat-chanceAccording to Kotaku’s Luke Plunkett, Nintendo’s North American President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime, wouldn’t commit to a 2010 release of a new Zelda title during his recent Q&A session with GameTrailers TV host Geoff Keighley, stating:

“We haven’t committed to Zelda in 2010″

I must admit, I watched the same video earlier today, however I lost focus around the part where Reggie said that the New Super Mario Bros. would “absolutely” outsell Modern Warfare 2. At that point, I thought my time would be better served doing something more productive like holding my breath and counting to one thousand. This proved to be only marginally true.

As for thinking a new Zelda title would be released in 2010, I’m with Luke in saying that’s just “stupid”. You can’t realistically expect to see a title released next year when it hasn’t even been shown off formally yet. We need time to do things like pace back and forth. Sheesh!

Nintendo Wii 2 with Blu-Ray and 1080p Support Coming in 2010?

Fresh from the rumor department comes a supposed Wii 2 console leak being reported by Maxconsole.net. The leak apparently originates on/from the French gaming site Logic-sunrise.com, however I dug into the site a bit myself with Google Translate and couldn’t find any trace of the information Maxconsole claimed to be getting from them. It could be that it wasn’t posted on the French site itself although that wouldn’t make much sense.

All in all, the rumored “leak” states that Nintendo is working on a Wii sequel with the following: Read more…

Splinter Cell Gets 2010 Release Date

by Dylan Duarte on September 24, 2009 at 2:04 am

I'm irritated too, but calm down!

It was announced a while back that Splinter Cell: Conviction was being pushed back into 2010. Hell, it was announced last year that the game was being delayed until this year. But we’ve finally got a solid release date in February 23rd, 2010, so mark your calendars. Mark it with pencil, though, in case the game gets pushed back.

Bioshock 2 coming February 2010

2K Games have today announced that the hotly anticipated Bioshock 2 will be releasing on the 9th of February 2010. The release date will be the same for all platforms: PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

I’ll quickly take this opportunity to remind our PC gaming fans that Direct2Drive are offering the original Bioshock for just $5/£5 for the next few days. Get it if you haven’t played it, and finish it. Then maybe you’ll be as excited as the rest of us that it’s only six months until the sequel arrives. Actually, when I put it like that, six months sounds like ages.

PAX Coming to Boston 2010, I’m Here Now

by Chad Lakkis on August 29, 2008 at 11:11 am

While Wade, John, and Justin are enjoying PAX in Seattle, I am stuck happy to be in Boston this weekend for a wedding.

The good even better news is that, according to Joystiq, the Penny Arcade Expo will be making its way to Boston in 2010. This marks the first time in the shows five year stint that it will be held on east coast.
